The age of our children is a big factor in disciplining them. It is important to remember that when we discipline, we do it out of love and not out of anger. Because we want them to grow in the love and wisdom of the Lord. As the Lord lovingly disciplines us, so we should also do the same to our children. It is never too late to start disciplining them!
