This Bible study devotional covers 1 Kings 6-8. In this passage, Solomon builds Israel’s first temple as a mini-model of the universe and a callback to the garden of Eden. As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In 1 Kings 6-8, we see that Jesus is the final temple and the ultimate model for how the universe is meant to be. When we stretch out our hands to him, all the blessings of Eden and God’s temple are given to us.
