This Bible study devotional covers Ezra chapters 2-3. In this passage, we read about how Zerubbabel and a small remnant of Israelites laid the foundation for the temple in Jerusalem. But their expectations were unmet when their efforts did not accomplish what they thought. As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In Ezra 2-3, we see that Jesus shows God’s faithfulness through unmet expectations.
